As a tea plantation owner from Galle, Sri Lanka, my family vacation at ALTIDO Affordable Edinburgh offered us a unique experience. The property is conveniently located, making tram travel accessible for our airport transfers and to nearby attractions like Edinburgh Playhouse. Upon arrival, we enjoyed a smooth check-in process, coupled with a thoughtful box of cookies that delighted my children. Although the accommodation is essentially converted student housing, there was ample storage space for our family needs. While the absence of kitchen facilities presented challenges, the staff's friendliness made up for it. The nearby cafés provided great options for quick meals. Despite being a bit outside the city centre, the location allowed us to enjoy a quieter stay. I appreciated that the tram extension is underway, expected to enhance accessibility even further. It was a memorable family trip.
